Helen Elizabeth Schrum

Funeral services will be held 11 AM Wednesday at Lane Funeral Austintown Chapel for Helen Elizabeth Schrum of Austintown who passed away Monday morning at St. Elizabeth Medical Center. Helen was born August 7, 1918 in Gilmore, OH a daughter of Otis L. and Laura (Horn) Morrison and came to this area in 1939. Helen was a member of the West Austintown United Methodist Church. She had been a factory worker for Packard Electric for 30 years retiring in 1974. She is survived by a son Larry Schrum of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada; six granddaughters: Sonya, Ursula, Rachel, Kristen, Cindy, and Jacqueline, seven great grandchildren, and a brother Albert Morrison of Riverside, CA. Helen is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Wilbur L. Schrum whom she married October 22, 1939 and who passed away on September 5, 1997; three sisters Mrs. Minnie Lindsay, Mrs. Jean Trivelli, and Mrs. Audrey Smith. Friends may call from 6-9 PM Tuesday and from 10 to 11AM Wednesday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel.
