Helen F. Kimmel

North Jackson- Funeral services will be held at 11 am Monday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Helen Kimmel who died Thursday morning at St. Elizabeth Hospital. Helen was born August 6, 1934 in Oakland, Maryland the daughter of William and Anna (Roth) Upole and moved here in 1939. Helen had been a member of Highway Tabernacle Church graduated from Poland Seminary High School in 1941 and loved to fish. She had been employed by American Optical for 20 years and then worked as a Vindicator delivery lady for 8 years before retiring in 1969. Helen is survived by her husband Earl R. Kimmel whom she married December 18, 1950, children, Goldie (Dave) Lavezzare of Diamond and James Kimmel of North Jackson, grandchildren, Rebecca, David and his fiance Sarah Trenak. And her sister Colleen Sweeney in California. She was preceded in death by sisters, Nioma Corll, Anna Cook and brothers, William and Orville Upole. Family and friends may call from 4-5 pm Sunday at the funeral home
