Helen Herman

Services will be held at 11:30 AM at Wickliffe Christian Church for Helen Herman of 67 Lexington Pl who passed away Thursday morning at St. Elizabeth Medical Center. She was born April 13, 1922 in Austintown a daughter of Frank and Jawdocha (Smolack) Harbol. She was a homemaker, member of Wickliffe Christian Church, and a 1940 graduate of Fitch High School. She is survived by husband Joseph J. Herman whom she married September 5, 1947; children Janet (Bill) Reynolds, Patty (Rick) Shobel both of Austintown, and Joe (Patti) Herman of Youngstown; sisters Ann Benyo, Stella Modorcia, Jeannette Pollard all of Austintown, Sophie Hart of Toledo,Ohio; 1 brother Frank Harbol of Canfield; grandchildren: Bill (Nancy) Reynolds, Lorraine (John) Federovitch, Michele Shobel, Keith (Shannan) Shobel, Amanda J. Herman, Joseph J. Herman and great grandchildren: Stephen Frank, Skye Reynolds, & Evan Shobel. She is preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, and 1 brother. Friends may call from 1-3 & 6-8 PM Friday at Lane Funeral Home Austintown. And one half hour prior to the service at the church Saturday. Material contributions may be made to the church.
