Helen Irene Barrett

Helen Irene Barrett of Masury, OH, died on Tuesday (01-20-2009) at 9:07 PM at the UPMC Horizon Campus in Farrell. She was 84. She was born at her parent's home in Sharon, PA on March 10, 1924, a daughter of John E. and Marie H. (Mild) Barrett. A 1942 graduate from Brookfield High School, Helen went on to work at Westinghouse for over 35 years in the accounting department. She was a proud member of First Baptist Church, in Sharon, PA, where she had been a member for over 40 years. In her free time she enjoyed spending time Tole Painting. She is survived by her nephew Keith Barrett; niece Vicki Webber and her husband Tom; great-nephew Tom Webber Jr. of all of Masury, OH; and great-niece Erin Webber of Greensburg, PA. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Geroge Barrett. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday at Lane Funeral Homes Madasz Chapel in Brookfield with Rev. John Trojak, Pastor. Calling hours will be Friday from 7-9 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Brookfield Township Cemetery. The family requests that contributions be made to the First Baptist Church Memorial Fund, 301 West State Street in Sharon, PA 16146.
