Helen Jakubec

Ravenna- Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Wednesday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Helen Jakubec who died Saturday evening at Long Meadow Care Center. Helen was born February 26, 1919 in Youngstown the daughter of John and Johanna Dovala and had lived in Youngstown most of her life. Helen was a member of St. Johns Historical Lutheran Church where she was a member of the ladies Alter Guild and also a member of Lodge 39 of the Lutheran Society. She was employed as a machine operator at the former Cleveland Brass Company in Kinsman until its closing. Helen is survived by her children; Robert (Barbara) Jakubec of Tilton N.H., Ronald (Marie) Jakubec of Fowler, Carole (Carl) Andrei of Ravenna and Janice Elya of St. Helen MI. She is also survived by her brother Edward (Delores) Dovala of Canfield, 13 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother John Dovala. Family and friends may call from 12 pm Wednesday until time of services.
