Helen L. Marsh

Austintown- Funeral services will be held at 11 am Wednesday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Helen Marsh who died Friday evening at the Hospice House. Helen was born September 30, 1932 in Reynoldsville. Pa. the daughter of Charles E. and Hazel Lloyd Lydic. Helen was a member of the Ellsworth Presbyterian Church and the Ladies Auxiliary of Ellsworth VFW Post 9571. She will sadly missed by her husband of 62 years, Homer J. Marsh whom she married June 12, 1948, children; George of Youngstown, Donna Korda of Elyria, Linda (Dave) Haught of Elyria, Don of Austintown, Carol (Walter) Bond of Minerva, six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Helen will also be missed by her sisters; Bernice Herring of Harrisburg, Pa., Ruby Shoop of New Mine, Pa. and brother Donald Lydic of East Liverpool. She was preceded in death by a sister Dorothy Sample and brother Ernest Lydic. Family and friends may call from 5-8 pm Tuesday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel. The family requests that memorial contributions take the form of donations to the Ellsworth Presbyterian Church of Hospice of the Valley.
