Helen Lucille Laurich

Helen Lucille Laurich, age 86 of Delaware, Ohio, formerly of Cortland, Ohio, died on August 22, 2013 at 5:48 PM at Grady Memorial Hospital in Delaware. She was born on July 12, 1927 in Charleston, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Roy and Alma Irene Jordan Edens. Mrs. Laurich was a homemaker. Her greatest joy was being with her family. She was a member of the Bazetta Christian Church. Survivors include her children, Debbie Leon of Virginia Beach, VA, and Amy I. (Craig) Zanetos of Powell, Ohio; four grandchildren, Bethany Leon, Nicholas, Ellen, and Matthew Zanetos; and one brother, Roy L. Edens of Dunbar, West Virginia. Other than her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband, John Laurich on July 17, 1976; one grandson, Douglas Leon; and one brother, James Edens. Graveside services will be held at the Hillside Cemetery Chapel at 12:00 PM on Saturday, August 31, 2013 where Pastor Jim Dittmar will celebrate Helen's life. Family and friends may gather at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Shafer-Winans Chapel in Cortland on Saturday from 11 AM until we process to the cemetery for services.
