Helen Mae Jervis

Cortland Helen Mae Jervis, 88, passed away on Wednesday August 19, 2015 at St. Joseph Hospital in Warren. Helen was born on December 18, 1926 in Fowler, OH, a daughter of the late Oliver Verne Hall and Lucy Pearl (Guesman). She was a 1944 graduate of Cortland High School. She was an avid Cleveland Indians fan and loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her loving daughters, Carol (John) McCready of Cortland and Kathy (Keith) Domes of Elkhart Indiana; her grandsons Brian and Kevin(Brishen) Pipenur; her great-grandchildren, Cody, Katelyn, Brady and Declan; her sister in law Helen Hall; and her two nieces, Beverly (Frank) Ferry and Barb Bash. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband George "Wayne" Jervis, whom she married on March 1947 and passed away on May 19, 1971, and her brother Verne Hall. Private services will be held for Helen at a later date. Burial will take place at Crown Hill Burial Park in Vienna, OH, where she will be laid to rest next to her husband.
