Helen R. Jarrell

AUSTINTOWN- Helen R. (Moore) Jarrell, 86 years old, passed away Monday, February 3, 2014. She was born on April 11, 1927 in Delphia, WV to the late Fred and Leora Moore. Helen married the late Charles B. Jarrell on October 2, 1942 and they spent 68 years together before Charles passed in 2008. Helen had many hobbies like camping and fishing with her husband. She also loved casinos and traveling. Helen enjoyed her time spent with visitors and she loved spending time "porchin'." Left to mourn Helen's passing are her daughters, Carolyn "Sue" (Gary) Walker of Austintown and Sandra (Jim) Arden of Austintown; her grandchildren, Colleen Grope, Gary Steven Walker, Charlene Johnson, and James "Jamie" Arden; her great grandchildren, Christopher, Matthew, Brandon, Jarrett, Jennifer, Courtney, Jacob, Erin, and Elijah; her great-great grandchildren, Jonathan, and Cece; and her many nieces and nephews whom she cared very much about. Helen is preceded in death by her husband, Charles B. Jarrell; her sisters, Auderia Arden, Marie Harvey, Marjorie O'Dell, Dorothy Lakatos, and Jean Waugh; and her brothers, Russell, Robert, Joseph, and Ed Moore. The family will receive friends from 10AM-12PM on Saturday, February 8 at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel, 5797 Mahoning Ave, where a funeral service will follow at 12PM.
