Helen McIntyre, 91, of Canfield, passed away peacefully at her residence, Fri. April 12, 2013. She was born Oct. 19, 1921, in Youngstown, the daughter of Rollin and Etta Mook. Helen was a 1939 graduate of Wilson High School. She worked for the Youngstown Hospital Association as a Registered Nurse until her retirement in 1983. She was a member of Western Reserve United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women, the Retired Nurse Association, the Susannah Circle and the Christian Fellowship Class. Helen enjoyed reading but the one thing loved most was spending time will her family. She will be dearly missed by her daughter; Ruth (Richard) Baldwin, of Canfield, her son; Jeff (Eileen) McIntyre, of Austintown, a brother; Robert Mook, of Beaver Twp., a sister; Doris Hanna, of FL, four grandchildren; Scott and Shawn McIntyre, Jennifer and Brian Baldwin, and five great-grandchildren. Helen was preceded in death by her loving husband; Norman McIntyre, whom she married in 1943, a sister; Etta Mae "Dolly" Probert and her parents. A memorial service will be held at Western Reserve United Methodist Church; 4580 Canfield Rd. Canfield OH, on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at 5:00pm. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Western Reserve United Methodist Church.
