Helen Wilkinson

Helen Wilkinson, 98 Boardman: Helen Wilkinson, age 98, a resident of the Shepherd of the Valley Nursing facility in Boardman, formerly of the Blackburn Home in Poland and Trentholm Road in Boardman, died on January 21, 2016. She was the daughter of Ray and Mildred Harriger of Youngstown. Helen worked 15 years in Boardman school cafeterias, retiring in 1979. She was a member of the First Church of Christ, Scientist, of Youngstown and the Mother Church in Boston. Helen was married to Eldon Peters, who died in 1988. Helen married George Wilkinson in 1997, who passed away in January 2005. She is survived by her son, Dr. David Peters of Knoxville, TN and 3 step-children: Charles Wilkinson and Garth Wilkinson, both of Youngstown and Grant Wilkinson of Sylvania, Ohio and their families. Her daughter, Martha Prosser, is deceased. A private service for Helen will be held at a later date.
