Henry M. Kaminski

A service will be held on Thursday, November 5h at 11:00 am at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel for Henry M. "Sonny" Kaminski, 77, of Austintown, who passed away November 1, 2015. He was born January 5, 1938 in Youngstown, a son of the late Henry J. Kaminski and Cecilia Fergus Kaminski. Henry was a 1956 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School. He married Darlene Millovich on November 21, 1959, and she passed away on September 11, 2007. Henry was a steelworker for 30 years at LTV Steel. He also worked for Dale Cleaners in Austintown as a relay driver from 1986-2007. Sonny loved going to casinos, traveling, and watching his grandchildren play sports. Sonny is survived by his five children, Richard (Robin) Kaminski, Karen (Anthony) Stanko, Lorraine (Bernie) Anderson, Kenneth (Kim) Kaminski, and Kelley Kaminski; his sister, Eleanore Dukovac; his half sister, Donna Jo Ferraro; his brother in law, Eugene Canton, Sr. He is also survived by his six grandchildren, Heather Margiotta, Kenneth, Morgan, Michael, Jarrod, and Tyler Kaminski; his three step grandchildren, Christine Dunbar, Amy Silver, and Anthony Stanko, IV; his great-grandson, Chase Margiotta; and his eleven step great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Sonny was preceded in death by his wife; his sister, Judith Canton; and his grandson, Bernard Anderson. Family and friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, November 4th and Thursday, November 5th from 10:00 to 11:00 am at the Lane Family Funeral Home Austintown Chapel.
