Warren- Herbert L. Stottlemire, age 70, died Saturday, February 3, 2018 at St. Joseph Hospital in Warren. Herbert was born March 16, 1947 in Buckeye, West Virginia to the late Harry and Lou (Morrison) Stottlemire. He was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Vietnam war. Herbert worked for Luntz Steel in Warren as a crane operator before taking a job with the Army Corps of Engineers. He retired from the Army Corps with over 30 years of service. He enjoyed wood working and compiling his family genealogy. He enjoyed watching TV with his family, especially Jeopardy, NCIS, and Andy Griffith. Besides his parents, Herbert is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 35 years, the former Kathlyn "Kathi" Yingling, she died October 26, 2012. His granddaughter Ashley Jane, sister Varina Wiseman, and brothers Frank "Richard" Stottlemire and John Stottlemire. Herbert will be forever missed by his daughter Kimberly (Jimmy) Quinn, his sons, Daniel (JoAnna) Stottlemire, and Brian (Selena) Stottlemire; grandchildren Jon, Sierra, David, Victoria, and Noah; his sisters, Mary Jordan and Becky Mechling, and his brothers Dave Stottlemire, and Ronald Stottlemire. Friends may call 5-7PM, Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at the Lane Funeral Home, Roberts-Clark Chapel, 180 Garfield Dr. NE in Warren, A funeral service will begin at 7PM with Pastor Jessie Howard, Jr., officiant.
