Hildegard Honse

Hildegard Honse88 Youngstown Hildegard Honse, 88, of Youngstown passed away Friday at the Hospice House. She was born November 28, 1926 in Kulmbach, Germany, the daughter of the late Richard J. and Johanna (Bergman) Schirmer. She worked as a cashier at Sparkle Market for 22 years and was a member of the Concordia Chorus at the Saxton Club in Youngstown for over 20 years. Hildegard leaves her daughter, Christine Herman of Youngstown, Ohio, and her 2 grandchildren, Ryan and Eric Knight. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Justin J. Honse whom she married on June 6, 1948; her son Richard J. Honse, and her brother, Alfred Schirmer. A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 3 at the Austintown Chapel at 11 AM. She will be laid to rest at a later date in Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations of monetary value be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Hildegard's name at 3695 Boardman-Canfield Road, Canfield, OH 44406
