Funeral services will be held at 12:30 PM Thursday at the Lane Family Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Howard Wilson Moore, 87, of North Jackson who passed away Sunday, April 24, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Youngstown. Howard was born August 5, 1928 in Warren, the son of Roy Emerson and Alta (Stringfellow) Moore. He retired in 1990 form Valley Systems Inc. in Canal Fulton where he had been a truck driver and supervisor for 9 years. He was a member of Heritage Baptist Church in Ellsworth where he also served as a trustee. Howard was an Army Veteran, serving in the Korean War. He is survived by his wife the former Joyce A. Patton, whom he married September 15, 1980, five daughters, Judy Prout of Ashtabula, Cindy (Terry) Krol of North Jackson, Bobbie Jo Moore of Youngstown, Tami (Rev. Herman Jr.) Bucklew of Upper Sandusky, and Jackie Albright of North Jackson, one stepdaughter, Debbie (Jim) Miller of Niles, and one sister, Mary Katherine Kucek of North Jackson, 16 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Besides his parents, Howard was preceded in death by a stepson Norman Lancaster, one son-in-law, Charles Prout, two brothers, Emerson D. and Donald Moore, as well as 3 grandchildren. Friends may call from 11 AM until 12:30 PM Thursday at the Lane Family Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel, where services will be held at 12:30 PM.
