Ida Marie Wilber

Ida Marie Wilber, 85, 2709 Hoffman Circle NE Howland Twp. died 4:20 PM Tuesday January 15, 2008 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital following a short illness. She was born February 9, 1922 in East Palestine, OH the daughter of Arthur and Hazel (Mort) Smith. A Warren area resident for most of her life, she was a 1940 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School. She formerly was employed by Packard Electric and for many years at the Mary Holland Jewelry Co. Ida was a long time member of the Calvary Presbyterian Church of Warren and was a past matron of Morning Light Chapter #80-Order of Eastern Star, a member of the Social Order of Beauceant #77, and a member of Trinity White Shrine #42. She also was a volunteer at Trumbull Memorial Hospital for several years. She is survived by her husband of 67 years Adelbert "Del" Wilber whom she married Dec.6, 1940, a son Kenneth (Helen) Wilber of Atlanta, GA, daughter Nancy Werner of Warren, and 3 grandchildren Dr. Thomas Wilber, Kenneth Wilber both of Atlanta and Patricia Werner of Columbus, OH. She also leaves 7 great grandchildren; Vivienne, Madison, Gracie, and Bailey Wilber of Atlanta, and Giuseppe, Genevieve, and Adelaide Penzone of Columbus. Ida was preceded in death by a son William in 2000 and 2 brothers John and Leroy Smith. Rev. Dr. David Robert Black will officiate at a funeral service 10:30 AM Saturday Jan.19, 2008 at Roberts-Clark Chapel where friends will be received from 6-8 Friday. There will be an Eastern Star service at 6:30 PM. Interment will be in Crown Hill Burial Park.
