IGNATIUS L. “IGGY” BIELOBOCKIE Ignatius L. “Iggy” Bielobockie, of 6385 Merwin-Chase Rd, Brookfield, Ohio, died at 2:45 PM Thursday at Sharon Regional Health Care System, Sharon, Pennsylvania, following an extended illness. He was 82. Mr. Bielobockie was born in Brookfield, Ohio on July 31, 1922, a son of Anthony and Mary (Paulovich) Bielobockie. Iggy graduated from Brookfield High School in 1940 where he played football, and then served our country in the U.S. Army Air Corp during WWII. Following his military discharge, he had worked for Copper Weld Steel, Warren Ohio before his retirement in 1974 after 37 years of service. In his spare time, he enjoyed farming, carpentry, bee keeping, and traveling the U.S. He had also been the Master of Sharon’s Farmer Market for many years. Iggy had been involved with the beautification of downtown Sharon. Survivors include: wife, Lucille M. (Wise) Bielobockie, whom he married 11-30-46; 3 children, Larry & his wife Althea, Columbia, SC, Debbie Lindemuth & her husband Ronald, Thorofare, NJ, and Carol Patterson & her husband Steve, Gilbert, AZ; 2 brothers, Aloys “AL” Martin, Brookfield, OH, and Dr. Rudolph Martin, Mentor, OH; 7 grandchildren, Tony & Adam Bielobockie, Ronald, Pamela & Sandra Lindemuth, Ashley & Matthew Patterson; & 2 great-grandchildren, Nicholas & Alexander Lindemuth. He was preceded in death by: his parents; 5 brothers & 2 sisters. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday at the Madasz Funeral Chapel, Brookfield, with Rev. Allan D. McCracken, Pastor of Liberty Bible Church, Vienna, Ohio. Calling hours will be from 5-8 PM Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Hermitage, PA.
