Inez H. Gosnell

Inez K. Gosnell, age 87 of Fowler, Ohio, died at 10:10 PM, Monday, September 2, 2013 at Cortland Health Care Center. She was born on December 14, 1925 in Kennard, PA, the daughter of the late Clinton and Minnie Ray Kostenbader. Mrs. Gosnell was a 1942 graduate of Penn High School in Greenville and Duff's Iron City College in Pittsburgh. She married John W. Gosnell in 1953, who preceded her in death in March 1996. Inez is survived by her children, George (Debbie) Gosnell, Michael (Ruth) Gosnell, Dale (Debbie) Gosnell, Linda (John) Talkington, Judith (Roy) Lamb; 27 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Other than her parents, Inez was preceded in death by two sons, John A. and Daniel J., one step-son, Charles Gosnell, and two sisters, Mary K. Gosnell and Betty J. Meeker. Mrs. Gosnell was a member of Fowler United Methodist Church and active in the United Methodist Women and as a Sunday School teacher for many years. Funeral services will be held at the Fowler United Methodist Church at 11 AM, Friday, September 6, 2013, where Rev. Daniel Wilson will celebrate Inez' life. Family and friends may visit at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Shafer-Winans Chapel in Cortland from 5-7 PM, Thursday, September 5, 2013 and also one hour prior to the service on Friday at the church.
