Inez Naomi Creager

There will be a funeral service at 11 AM Monday at the Lane Funeral Home Canfield Chapel, for Inez N. Creager, formerly of Canfield, who passed away Wednesday at Boca Hospital in Boca Raton, FL. Inez was born August 5, 1906 in Warsaw, IN a daughter of the late Sephran and Rosa (Strine) Paff. She graduated from Defiance College in 1929, later retiring from the Mahoning County Libraries where she was a librarian for many years. She was a member of the First Baptist Temple in Youngstown, which in now the Western Reserve Baptist Church. She served for one year as a church mother. Inez enjoyed spending time with her family and loved growing ferns. Her husband John W. Creager, whom she married June 30, 1930, passed away in 1983. Inez is survived by two children: Charles Creager of Canfield, and Carolyn Creager of Boca Raton, FL; three grandchildren: Kevin (Sue) Creager of Springfield, Allyson (Mark) Swaney of Oxnard, CA, and Marla (Don) Wilson of Canfield; and six great grandchildren: Colin Creager, Alex Creager, Laura Creager, Marina Wilson, Benjamin Wilson, and Trevor Wilson. Besides her parents and husband, Inez was preceded in death by two brothers: Vernon and Ernest Paff. Friends may call from 1 PM until 3 PM Sunday at the Lane Funeral Home Canfield Chapel.
