Inez S Lininger

Inez S. (Stewart) Lininger, age 98, of Warren, died Monday morning, January 26, 2009, at St. Joseph Health Center in Warren. She was born January 2, 1911 in Uniontown, Penn. the daughter of the late W Walter and Gatha (Fearer) Stewart. She and her husband moved from Mt. Pleasant, Pa to Windham, Ohio in 1956. Inez was a 1928 graduate of Uniontown High School and was a member of the Windham United Methodist Church. She and her husband, Harold, managed the former Lawson Dairy Store on Youngstown Road in Warren for many years. Inez enjoyed crossword puzzles and reading biographies. Her husband, Harold B. Lininger, whom she married August 16, 1935, preceded her in death on November 29, 1971. Two sisters, Mildred McLucky and Ruth Hull; one brother, James P. Stewart; a grandson, Daniel Clark; a great granddaughter, Maria Nicole Grace and a stepson, James Lininger also all preceded in death. She will be sadly missed by her children, Patricia Clark of Vineland, NJ; Walter S. (Judy) Lininger of Windham and Louise Lininger of Warren; two stepdaughters, Janet Hout of Youngstown and Isobel Sagawa of Kauai, Hawaii; two sisters, Jeannette Frankhouser of Zephyrhills, Fla. and Edith Hugus of Kingston, NH; three grandchildren, Donalyn (James) Grace of Vineland, NJ; Brenda (Gregg) Isler of Windham and Walter (Eileen) Lininger II of Ashtabula and seven great grandchildren, Pamela, Danielle and MaryAnn Grace, Caitlyn and Jessica Isler and Audra and Bryan Lininger. Arrangements are being handled by Roberts-Clark Funeral Chapel in Warren, where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the funeral service at 10:30am Thursday, January 29, 2009 with Pastor Jim Jensen officiating. Burial will be at Pineview Memorial Park in Warren.
