Irene C Light

Irene C. Light, 89, passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. She was born on April 16, 1926 in Loudin County, Tennessee, daughter of the late Walter and Pearl (Ragsdale) Miller. Irene moved to Ohio in 1953. She was an avid cook and baker, enjoyed bible study and loved her family, especially her grandchildren. Irene was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Champion. Irene is survived by her son, James W. (Rita) Light of Windham; daughter, Yvonne (David) Ditchey of Warren; grandchildren, Lisa Lawson, Janie (Mike) Lemaster, Kelly (Mike) Dyer, Kate (Rich) Bates, Megan (Ryan) Williams, and Tom Ditchey. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, the love of her life, Jack Light on August 26, 2009; parents; five brothers and one sister. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, February 7, 2016 at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Roberts Clark Chapel, 180 Garfield Drive NE, Warren, Ohio from 4:00 to 6:00 PM as well as one hour prior to the services on Monday. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 8, 2016 at the funeral home at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Meadowbrook Cemetery in Champion.
