Irene was born December 9, 1926 in McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late John and Anna Homyak Legosh. She graduated from East High School in 1944 and was a long time member of St. Christine Church. She was a homemaker, or as the family called her, the gate keeper of the family. Irene leaves her sons, Ronald J. Naypaver and his wife Kathy of Canfield, Greg C. Naypaver of Youngstown; a daughter-in-law, Linda Naypaver of Austintown; a step-son, David (Stephanie) Taylor of Avon, Ohio; a step-daughter, Tammy Taylor Bannick of Robbins, North Carolina; a brother, Ed (Judee) Evaniuk of Dayton; a sister, Evelyn Fallos of Hellertown, Pennsylvania; two grandchildren, Ashley (Phillip) Lopez of California, Correy (Lisa) Naypaver of Austintown and two great-grandchildren, Lilly and Logan Lopez and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and her husbands, Irene was preceded in death by a son, John R. Naypaver and two sisters, Pearl Meckulch and Mary "Murph" DeMain. Friends may call on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Lane Funeral Home, Canfield.
