Irene Genevieve Hradek

Irene Genevieve Hradek, 96 of Humility House, Austintown died Saturday afternoon at her residence. Irene was born January 14, 1922 in Cleveland, a daughter of the late Vincent and Stella (Sebulski) Holoboski. She graduated from John Hay High School in Cleveland and worked various jobs throughout her life, including Halle Bros. Department Store in Cleveland. The most important thing to Irene throughout her entire life was her family. Her husband, Joseph Thomas Hradek, whom she married July 22, 1944, died in 2002. She leaves two sons, Joseph (Jackie) Hradek of Medina, Jeffrey (Chris) Hradek of Nokomis, Florida; one daughter, Janice (Ron) Dobro; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Besides her parents and her husband, Irene was preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters. The family would like to thank the staff at Humility House for the love and care given to Irene for the six years that she had lived there. Private services will be held at a later date.
