Irene M. Peterson Ebbs

Irene B. (McCool) Peterson Ebbs, 86, of Warren died Saturday evening at 10:10PM at the Community Skilled Nursing Centre in Warren. Born October 5, 1919 in Johnson, OH, she was the daughter of Andrew and Nellie Gifford McCool. Irene retired in 1977 after 30 years of service from Packard Electric where she worked as an assembler on the line. She had been a member of the Evening Light Apostolic Church in Niles. Irene married Frank R. Ebbs April 11, 1987. Frank preceded her in death July 2, 1995. She is survived a son John Peterson of Warren, 4 grandchildren, Tammie (Jake) Landacre, John J. (Trish) Peterson Jr., Bryan Andrew Peterson, and Jeffrey Charles (Judy) Peterson, nine great grandchildren, Robin, Terra, Kyle, Ryan, Tiffany, Courtney, Samantha, Brittany, John J. III, Deana, Amanda, Elisa, and Eva. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sons Elwood L. Peterson who passed away August 6, 2006 and with whom she will be sharing calling hours and a funeral service, John H. Jr. and James Peterson, and by a daughter Rosalind Nellie Peterson. Calling hours will be held Wednesday form 5 to 8PM at the Roberts Clark Funeral Chapel. Rev. Earl Hearn will conduct a funeral service for Irene and her son Elwood Peterson on Thursday, August 17, 2006 at 11AM at the funeral home. Burial for both will be in the Champion Twp. Cemetery.
