Irene Miklas

AUSTINTOWN: Irene Miklas, age 87, of Austintown passed away Sunday, January 13, 2013. Born July 11, 1925 in Youngstown, she was the daughter of Edward and Julia (Dovala) Sikora. Irene was a member of the Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Canfield, Order of Easten Star, Miriam Chapter, Saxon Club, and the White Shrine. Survivors include her children: Sandra I. (Gary) Yenik of Binghamton, NY, Linda J. (Harold "Skip") Perkins of Farmington Hills, MI., Martin E. (Janet) Miklas of Austintown, and Sheila A. (Jim) Henline of Austintown; 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Martin. A Memorial Service will be held at the Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Canfield on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 11:00AM, friends will be received one half hour before the service. Memorial contributions can be made to either Hospice of the Valley or a charity of one's choice.
