Berlin Center- Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 am at the Lane Funeral Home Canfield Chapel for Jack William Pricer, 83, who passed away Saturday evening at Forum Health Northside Medical Center. Jack was born August 18, 1927 in Canfield, Ohio the son of Raymond and Ethel (Kimmel) Pricer. Jack was a Millman for Standard Slag for many years returing in 1992. He also worked at the former Sinclair gas station in Canfield which his father operated and trained trotter horses. He was also a United States Navy Veteran, serving in World War II. Jack attended Canfield Presbyterian Church. He was a member of the American Legion Canfield Post #177. He was a drummer for the Chuck Wooster Band, and the American Canfield Legion Band. He is survived by his wife the former Eleanor C. Cutting whom he married September 18, 1951, cousins Jan Mosier of Berlin Center, Kendra Moser, Marilee Gilbert, Jim Kimmel, Barbara Simmers, Joanne Speece, Sandra Wertz, and Ruth Rose; as well as one sister in law Geraldine Brown and brother in law Richard Cutting both of Canfield as well as several nieces and nephews. Jack was preceded in death by his parents. Friends and family may call Wednesday 10 am until the time of service.
