James E Garland

Private services will be held for James E. Garland, 58 who died unexpectedly on Saturday Jan. 24, 2015. James was born on Feb. 21, 1956 in Youngstown, the son of the late George Garland and the late Vivian (Brain) Garland. Mr. Garland was a 1974 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School. He was retired from Swagelok where he worked as a laborer. He enjoyed woodworking and reading books, especially sci-fi, astrology and history. He leaves behind his wife Charlotte C. (Bernard) Garland whom he married on June 6, 1980, his three children Rachael Garland of Youngstown, Shawn Garland of Mayfield Heights and Nathan Garland of Youngstown, grandchildren Raven, Vivian and Bronson, siblings Vivian Vasko, George (Raye) Garland and David (Cammy) Garland as well as nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and son James Garland. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lane Family Funeral Homes, Austintown.
