James E. Sinn, 75, of Lordstown, passed away March 5, 2015 peacefully at home with family by his side. James was born in Warren, August 28, 1939, son of the late John and Jennie May (Champlin) Sinn. He was a proud veteran of the US Army. James retired from General Motors as a Senior Accountant for General Motors in 2000, after 33 years of service. He coached Little League at Burbank Park, and Hot Stove baseball in Lordstown. When not coaching, he enjoyed watching his grandchildren play sports, and was an avid Cleveland Indians fan. James also enjoyed wildlife, especially Buffalo and Pheasants, and was passionate about the Old West. James is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sandra (Moore); two sons, Tyler Sinn and Travis J. (Kirsten) Sinn; one daughter, Vicki (Bill) Pelyak; 13 grandchildren, Brandon, Brittany, Briana, Benjamin, Leah, Hannah, Matthew, Christopher, Cortney, Michael, Cody, Brooklynn and Madison; two great grandchildren, Aubri and Bo, and one sister Lois. He was preceded in death by a brother Leroy, and two half sisters, Vera and Paulette. The family will receive friends Sunday from 4-7 PM at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Roberts-Clark Chapel 180 Garfield, Warren. Funeral service will be held 11 AM Monday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at the Lordstown Cemetery.
