James F. Dillon Jr.

Austintown- James “Poppy” Dillon passed away Tuesday evening at the Hospice House. Jim was born April 20, 1939 in Youngstown the son of James F. and Edna (Shields) Dillon Sr. and was a life long area resident. He served in the US Navy and enjoyed being with people and enjoyed life. Poppy is survived by his children; Shelly (Rich) Conger, Michael Hahn and granddaughter Alecia all of Austintown. He also survived by his brother Robert E. Dillon of Beaver Falls, PA. and sister Donna Scott of Columbus. He was preceded in death by his parents. Following Jim’s wishes there are no services scheduled.
