James G. "Jimmy" Heathman, 52 of Warren, died Tuesday, October 6, 2015, at Medina General Hospital in Medina. He was born April 29, 1963 in Warren, the son of the late James E. Heathman and Janie M. Oates Heathman of Warren. He was a lifetime Trumbull county resident. Jimmy attended Fairhaven School during his school career. He then worked at the Fairhaven Sheltered Workshop for many years. As a youngster, he enjoyed the Sunshine Camp held at Joseph Badger Meadows. Jimmy enjoyed singing and dancing and was a wonderful person who brought joy to many people's lives. He was an avid sports fan of all the Ohio teams, especially the Cleveland Indians, Browns and Cavaliers and the Ohio State Buckeyes. Jimmy is survived by his mother, Janie M. Heathman of Warren; his sister, Linda S. (Jim) Garber of Brunswick; two nephews, Joshua (Jodie) Garber of Warren and Andrew (Lindsay) Garber of Boardman and great nephew and nieces, Gabe, Lily and Adelyn. He was preceded in death by his father, James E. Heathman in 1995. The family will greet friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, October 9, 2015 prior to the 11 a.m. service at Calvary Presbyterian Church. Rev. David Robert Black and Rev. James Garber will officiate. Burial will be at Crown Hill Burial Park in Vienna.
