James Gordon

NORTH JACKSON-Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM Monday, June 19, 2006 in the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for James Gordon, of Merri Dr. in North Jackson, who passed away suddenly Wednesday evening in his home. He was 57. James was born on January 11, 1949 in Youngstown, Ohio and was the son of John and Helen (Wells) Gordon Jr. James was a graduate of Jackson Milton High School and retired from Youngstown Welding and Engineering where he worked as a welder for 28 years. James was a member of Pricetown United Methodist Church and had been a volunteer Firefighter for the Craig Beach Fire Department. James was also a member of the Eagles. James is survived by his mother; two sons James (Denise) Gordon of Van Nuys, CA, and Brian (Pamela) Gordon of Niles; a sister Barbara Rosenberger of North Jackson; two brothers John (Jackie) Gordon of Newton Falls, and David (Janet) Gordon of Austintown; and five grandchildren. James was preceded in death by his father. Family will receive friends from 3 until 6 PM Sunday, June 18, 2006 in the funeral home.
