James H. Housman

James H. Housman of, Masury, died at 11:00 AM Thursday at his residence. He was 92. Mr. Housman was born in Carterville, MO on Sept. 19, 1912, a son of James A. and Alma A. Hosto Housman. James worked for over 32 years as a fitter at GATX. He retired in 1975. His member ships included, Masury United Methodist Church, GATX Retirees Club, Odd Fellows Sharon Lodge 347, Social member of Brookfield Vol. Fire Dept. Retired Steelworkers #28-9. His wife, Dorothy V. Housman, whom he married March 30, 1940, died Feb. 25, 2005. Survivors include: 2 sons, William H. Housman of Titusville, FL, and Thomas and his wife Beverly Housman of Hubbard, OH; 1 daughter, Kay Ann Bralich of Sharpsville, PA; 7 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by: his parents; 6 brothers; 1 sister. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday at the Madasz Funeral Chapel, Brookfield, with Rev. Jerry Herron, Pastor of the Masury United Methodist Church. Calling hours will be from 4-7 PM Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Brookfield Twp. Cemetery.
