YOUNGSTOWN- James "Jim" Haynes, 68, passed away Wednesday, August 19 after a well fought battle with cancer. He was born in Austintown on July 24, 1947, son to Christopher Columbus and Eleanor Haynes. Jim attended Austintown Fitch High School and worked for Munroe Inc as a Crane Operator for 24 years before retiring in 2012. He also worked part time at Ray's Transmission. Jim was a member of Victory Christian Center in Coitsville. He enjoyed playing pool and was a member of many different leagues. He also enjoyed talking on CB radio under his handle of "Cobra." His other hobbies included fishing, playing guitar, boating, and especially working on cars. Jim had a huge love for animals and his bird Baby and his dogs King, Ginger, Star, and Ashley always held a special place in his heart. Left to mourn Jim's passing is his loving wife of 29 years, Joanne (Bable) Haynes; his children, James Christopher Haynes, Tina Louise Neapolitan, and Faith Lynn Haynes; a granddaughter, Christina Neapolitan; his niece, Tammy Tincher; his mother, Eleanor Youngblood; and 4 nieces, 4 great-nephews, and 2 great-nieces. Jim is preceded in death by his first wife of 3 years, Shirley Haynes; his father, Christopher C. Haynes; his step-father, Donald Youngblood; and 1 sister.
