James J. Keleman, age 92, of Cortland, Ohio, died on Monday, February 17, 2014 at 10:00 PM at his home. Mr. Keleman was born on October 16, 1921 in Niles, the son of the late Joseph and Susan Nemeth Keleman. Jim was a retired shipping clerk from Packard Electric after 30 years of service. He was a lifetime member of the Warren Elks; he also was a member of the Warren Moose. Jim was also an honorably discharged US Coast Guard Veteran of WWII. Survivors include his loving wife, the former Pearl Reich, whom he married on April 24, 1954; and one brother, Ernest Kelemen of Seal Beach, California, and many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. Other than his parents, James was preceded in death by one brother, Joseph Keleman. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, February 21, 2014 at St. Robert Bellarmine Roman Catholic Church, 4659 State Route 46, Cortland, Ohio 44410. Family and friends may visit at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Shafer-Winans Chapel in Cortland from 5-7 PM on Thursday, February 20, 2014. Morning prayers will be held at 9:30 AM at the funeral home on Friday before processing to the church for Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the church or to Senior Independece Hospice, 6715 Tippecanoe Road, Canfield, Ohio 44406.
