James Johnson

James Johnson age 88 of Leavittsburg passed away on April 27th, 2016. James was born in Warren on March 23, 1928 to James C. & Mary (Pettry) Johnson. He married Margaret Kish on September 2, 1947 and they had four sons. He worked for GM as a baler operator retiring in 1993. Besides gardening, James enjoyed wine making and playing the harmonica. A memorial gathering will be held on Friday May 6, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Ali Babba Grotto on 760 Perkin-Jones Road, Warren. James is survived by his sons John Johnson and Robert (Lisa) Johnson all of Leavittsburg, his grandchildren Amanda Durch, Kory Elizabeth and Nathan Johnson as well as several great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Margaret in 1971, his sons James C. and Wayne Johnson, and his brothers Roy and Bert Johnson.
