James Kim Henderson

James Kim Henderson, 72 James Kim Henderson, 72 of Indiana formerly of Canfield passed away Wed Aug 28 2013.The oldest son of Harry and Neva Henderson, he was born on Aug 28th 1941 and raised in Sebring Ohio. After 6 yrs in the Coast Guard where he schooled to become an electrician, James worked at General Motors, Lordstown plant where he retired in July of 2001 with over 30 years of service. He became a certified Infrared Thermographer winning rewards for his work. James was an avid fisherman and had raised beagles. He was also a member of the Sebring Lodge #626 F & AM. James is survived by his soul mate & loving wife Lynda S , son Gary Scofinsky and daughters Wendy Hanna (Tim) and Melissa McCormick; grandchildren, John and Kasey Hanna, Alex Coleman, Austin, Chase& Michael McCormick; and a great grandson Jaxson H. Hanna. He is also survived by a brother William Jan Henderson (Susan) and sisters Laurie Thomas (Paul) Sharie Henderson. Besides his parents, James was preceded in death by his daughter Melinda Marie Scofinsky; a brother Robert Neil Henderson, and a nephew William Brandt Henderson. Friends may call on Tuesday, September 3rd from 4-7 p.m. at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Canfield Chapel, 65 N. Broad Street, Canfield, Ohio, 44406. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 4th at the funeral homes. In lieu of flowers, the family requests material tributes take the form of donations to "The Concern" church group of Sebring, 125 W.
