James Lee Joseph

Funeral services will be 11 AM Monday at Lane Funeral Home Mineral Ridge Chapel for James Lee. Joseph Sr. Who passed away Tuesday morning at Autumn Hills Care Center after a brief illness. Jim was born February 20, 1937 in Mineral Ridge a son of the late Frank E. and Margaret (Howells) Joseph. He was a cutter at Packard Electric retiring in 1997 after 34 years. He was a member of the Mineral Ridge Church of Christ, loved golfing, going to flea markets, the Cleveland Indians and Ohio State Buckeyes. His wife the former Deloris E. Hitt, whom he married October 1, 1966, passed away May 18, 2004. Jim is survived by four children: Constance "Connie" (Gary) Riffle of Champion, Barbara Joseph of Champion, Ella (Robert Sr.) Dumke of Warren and James (Leslie) Joseph II of Niles; nine grandchildren Stephanie (John) Pettit, Spc. Erik Riffle , Bethanie Riffle, Mark Creekmore, Megan Creekmore, Robert Dumke Jr., Nicholas Dumke, James L. Joseph III, and Caleb Joseph; and a very special friend Donna Hiller of Niles. Besides his parents and wife, Jim is preceded in death by one brother Frank E. Joseph Jr. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, N. Broad St., Canfield, OH 44406.
