James R. Kimmel

North Jackson- Funeral services will be held at 11 am Tuesday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Jim “Bear” Kimmel who died Thursday at his residence. Jim was born March 10, 1952 in Youngstown the son of Earl and Helen (Upole) Kimmel. Jim had worked for Greyhound Foods at General Motors for 22 years. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of the Knights of Pythias in North Jackson. Jim enjoyed life, he was always a happy go lucky guy. He loved fishing, playing cards, traveling and restoring old tractors and cars. Jim will be missed by his sister Goldie (Dave) Lavezzare of Diamond and his nephew Dave and his fiancé Sarah Trenik and niece Rebecca Lavezzare. Jim was preceded in death by his parents. Family and friends may call from 4-7 pm Monday at the funeral home
