Private graveside services will be held at a later date in Rittman National Cemetery for James W. Hill, 86, of Austintown who passed away Thursday afternoon at his home. Jim was born June 11, 1924 in Youngstown the son of James and Myra (Hill) Hill and was a lifelong area resident. He served in the United States Army and was with the Combat Engineers during WWII. After the service Jim opened Hill's T.V. Repair Service and was the owner/ operator until his retirement in 1987. He was a member of Christ Church in Boardman where a memorial service will also take place. Jim leaves his wife the former Winifred Mills Bushling whom he married March 24, 1994. Jim also leaves two daughters; Susan Thornton of Youngstown and Myra Hill of Niles, 20 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. There are no calling hours. Arrangements were by the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel.
