Jane Harris

Services will be held at 2 pm Saturday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Jane Harris, 87, of Youngstown who passed away early Thursday morning in St. Elizabeth Medical Center. Jane was born July 16, 1918 in East Cleveland the daughter of Ole and Ella M. (Bosch) Olesen. She worked for G.M. McKelvey in the payroll department, then in the personnel department and retiring as the manager of the G.M. McKelvey Credit Union after 25 years of service. She was an avid bowler and bowled with the G.M. McKelvey League. Jane was a Jehovah Witness in faith and a member of the West Congregation Kingdom Hall. Her husband Harry Kent Harris whom she married October 7, 1951 passed away April 20, 1988. She leaves two brothers; Lawrence (Gerry) Olesen of Poland and James (Bette) Olesen of Boardman, as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, Jane is preceded in death by a brother Robert Olesen. Family and friends may call from 1 to 2 pm Saturday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel.
