Jane Lindsey, age 86 of Warren, Ohio died on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Hospice House of Poland. She was born on July 1, 1929 in Mineral Ridge, Ohio, the daughter of the late Edwin Jerimiah and Nellie Pearce Baker. Mrs. Lindsey was a member of the Mineral Ridge Church of Christ and former member of the First Baptist Church in Warren. Jane was a graduate of Mineral Ridge High School. She was a clerk for F. W. Woolworth's in downtown Niles and also at Carlisles. She and her husband, the late Robert E. Lindsey, owned and operated Lindsey's Catering in Warren. When Mrs. Lindsey was younger, she was a den mother; a play lady at the Trumbull Memorial Hospital; and she was a member of many circles and boards at First Baptist Church. Survivors include her sons, Russell (Susan) Lindsey of Denver, CO, and Richard (Kay) Lindsey and one great-granddaughter, Kayla Myers all of Warren; her twin sister, Jean Baker of Mineral Ridge. Other than her husband, Robert E. Lindsey, whom she married on September 8, 1951; one daughter, Barbara Lindsey; siblings Edwin Baker, Nellie Mrofochak, Lois Turner, and Ronald Baker. Funeral services will be held at the Lane Family Funeral Homes-Mineral Ridge Chapel on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at 11:00 AM, where Pastor Ron Blakeman will celebrate Jane's life. Family and friends may visit from 5-7 PM, Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at Lane Family Funeral Homes-Mineral Ridge Chapel. Mrs. Lindsey will buried next to her husband in Kerr Cemetery in Weathersfield Twp., Ohio.
