Janet Mae Tidd

Janet M. Tidd of Vienna Twp., OH, went to be with her Lord early Sunday morning May 1, 2011 at her home. She was 75 years old. Mrs. Tidd was born on Tuesday June 18, 1935, a daughter of Henry A. and Margaret J. (Martin) Beachler. Janet was an Alumna of Matthews High School, and following her graduation she went on to marry Donald H. Tidd Sr. on June 14, 1958. Together they would share more than forty-one years of marriage and their four children. She was a member of the Praise Assembly of God Church in Niles, OH where she had been active with both the Children's Ministry and the Youth Ministry Groups. In her early years she enjoyed taking camping trips with her husband. Throughout her life she crocheting blankets for each of her children and grandchildren, and had loved spending time with each of them. Janet will be sadly missed by her children Donald Tidd Jr. and his wife Cynthia of McArthur, OH, Brenda Swinhart and her husband Donald of Beloit, OH, Donna Sallaz and her husband Phillip of Lake Milton, OH, and Margaret Walker and her husband Matt of Vienna, OH; and by her six grandchildren Megan and Ashley Walker, Robbie Cosner, and Michael, Amanda, and Robert Swinhart. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald on November 22, 1999, her parents, and her brother William H. Beachler. Calling hours will be held Tuesday evening May 3, 2011 from 5:00PM-7:00PM. at the Lane Funeral Homes Madasz Chapel 6923 Warren-Sharon Road Brookfield, Ohio 44403. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday morning at 11:00AM at the funeral home with Pastor Michael Zenn officiating. Friends may also call again from 10:00-11:00AM prior to the services. Mrs. Tidd will be laid to rest next to her husband at the Vienna Township Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy the family requests that contributions be made to Hospice of the Valley Trumbull County Chapter.
