Janet R Metzinger

Brookfield - Janet, 67, passed away Friday evening, February 6, 2015 at her home with her family by her side. She was born on February 13, 1947 in Greenville, PA a daughter of Earl and Mildred (Zupanic) Watkins. She was a 1965 graduate of Greenville High School and was the Postmaster of the Orangeville Post Office. She was of methodist faith and a member of the Orangeville United Methodist Church. Janet loved spending time with her family. She also enjoyed traveling, camping, dancing, painting, scrap-booking, and gardening. She will be deeply missed by her parents, her husband William Metzinger, whom she married on December 31, 1991; her two daughters, Annette (Rick) Chalfant Humberson of Cleveland and their two children Ryan and Andrew; Renee (Greg) Chalfant Miller of Orangeville and their two children Megan and Dylan; her three step-sons, Richard (Pam) Metzinger of North Carolina and their daughter Mya, Robert (Kassie) Metzinger of Howland and his children Nathaniel, Brianna, Caleb, Paige, Christian, and Kyle, and Ross Metzinger of Struthers and his children Helania and Conner; one great granddaughter Alexandria; two brothers, Dan (Paula) Watkins of Chicago and Gary (Shirley) Watkins of Virginia. Funeral Services for Janet will be held on Tuesday February 10, 2015 at 12:00PM at Orangeville United Methodist Church, officiated by Pastor Gordon. Friends and family may call Monday February 9, 2015 from 5-8:00PM at Lane Family Funeral Homes - Madasz Chapel located at 6923 Warren-Sharon Road Brookfield, OH 44403 and on Tuesday from 10-12:00PM at the church. Interment will take place at Orangeville Cemetery at a later time.
