Janet S. (Young) Brooke

Janet S. (Young) Brooke passed away Friday, September 10, 2010 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center Boardman. She was born December 13, 1938 in Ellsworth a daughter of Walter and Annabel (Sturdevant) Young. A homemaker, Janet was an avid sewer, and loved animals, fishing, and gardening. She is survived by her mother of Canfield; her husband Lee Brooke whom she married August 3, 1956; three daughters: Lori Jones of Leetonia, Debra (Benjamin Siegel) Brooke of Miami, FL, and Julia (Ken) Sipler of Avon; two brothers: Dale Young of Canfield and Jim Young of Lake Milton; six grandchildren: Geary, Sarah, Timothy, Kenny, Kerry, and Hayley; and two great grandchildren: Carolyne, and Blake. Janet is preceded in death by her father, two sons: Gary Brooke and Timothy Brooke; and a brother Oakley Young. Memorial contributions may be made to Angels for Animals, 4750 W. South Range Rd., Canfield, OH 44406, in Janet's name. Friends may call from 4 PM until 8 PM Wednesday at Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel. There are no funeral services.
