Janice J Ladner

Girard Janice J. Ladner, 86, passed away Friday morning, June 16, 2017 at Shepherd of the Valley in Niles, OH. Janice was born in Warren, OH on May 17, 1931, a daughter of the late Ralph and Hazel (Tolson) Jones. She was a 1949 graduate of Mineral Ridge High School and was employed with United Telephone Company and Trumbull Memorial Hospital until her retirement in December of 1994. She was a member of Mineral Ridge Church of Christ. She loved to read, watch birds, especially Cardinals, and spending time with her friends; but most of all she loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren. Janice will be deeply missed by her children, Jeffrey (Jeanette) Ladner, Timothy (Nickole) Ladner, and Terri (Christopher) Ahladis; three grandchildren, Krista, Brian, and Clarissa Ladner; and three step-grandchildren, Kevin, Mason, and Matthew Henline. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lawrence Ladner, whom she married on September 10, 1960 and passed away in November of 1992; and her sister Lenora Gretter. Funeral services for Janice will be held on Sunday June 25, 2017 at 5:00PM at Lane Family Funeral Homes Roberts Clark Chapel, located at 180 Garfield Dr. NE Warren, OH 44483, with the Very Rev. Protopresbyter Kenneth Bachofsky officiating. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the services from 3-5:00PM. Memorial contributions may be made in Janice's name to the donor's choice.
