Jason L. Stuhldreher, 77, of Niles, passed away Sat., Mar. 30, 2013, at St. Joseph's Hospital. He was born Feb. 24, 1936, in Ashland, Ohio, the son of Chris and Ada (Schaffer) Stuhldreher. Jason was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp serving our Country from 1954-1956. He was employed at General Motors for 14 years prior to working for Aurora Hydromatic as a machine shop operator until his retirement. He will be dearly missed by his two sons; Jay (Annette) Stuhldreher, of McDonald, and Tim (Valerie) Stuhldreher, of Austintown, four daughters; Debra (David) Fortune, of McDonald, Kimberly Porter, of McDonald, Beth (Ron) Digman, of Mineral Ridge, and Patty Stuhldreher, of Loweville, a sister; Janet Mangino, of DE, 17 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. Jason was preceded in death by his long time companion; Betty Sparr, a brother; Jack Stuhldreher, a sister; Joann Workman, seven great-grandchildren and his parents. Friends will be received Wednesday, April 3, 2013 from 6:00pm- 8:00pm at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Mineral Ridge Chapel. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 4, 2013 at 10:00am, at the Mineral Ridge Chapel. Interment will be at Kerr Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of the Valley.
