Jean M. Corll

Canfield- A Memorial service celebrating the life of Jean Corll will be 1 pm Saturday at Zion Lutheran Church 3300 Canfield Rd. Youngstown. Jean died Monday evening in North Side Hospital of complications of heart failure due to amyloidosis. She was born October 17, 1940 in Youngstown the daughter of James C. and Marie (Kreitzburg) McLean. Jean’s love of life, family and friends inspired her throughout life and inspired all those who knew her. Her handicaps never slowed her down; she always went through life with a smile on her face. She was the owner and operator of Jean’s Originals and taught ceramic lessons to others for 30 years. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church where she had formerly been Sunday School Superintendent. She is survived by her husband Robert W. Corll whom she married July 23, 1960, daughter Debbie of Jupiter, FL., son Jim (Cindy) Corll of Pickerington, OH. and four grandchildren; Joe, Zachary, Jacob and Katelynn. Jean was preceded in death by her parents and sister Janice Brandvold. Family and friends may call from noon until time of services Saturday at Zion Lutheran Church. The family requests memorial contributions in lieu of flowers be made to Zion Lutheran Church, Memorial Fund in the name of Jean Corll.
