Jeanette Burt

CANFIELD---Memorial services will be held 11 AM Saturday, May 31, at the Canfield Presbyterian Church for Mrs. Jeanette Burt, of Canfield, who passed away Tuesday evening at her residence. Jeanette was born June 21, 1925 in Youngstown, the daughter of Dwight and Dorothy (Allen) Kimmel and was a lifelong area resident. She had been employed by the Canfield School System 15 years. Jeanette was a member of the Canfield Presbyterian Church and its Fellowship Committee. Her first husband, W. J. ''Bunny'' Hood, whom she married in 1944 died in 1990. She is survived by her husband, Dean Burt, whom she married July 22, 1994, one daughter, Cindy McPhee and her husband, Michael of Berlin Center, one son, David A. Hood and his wife, Maureen of Brentwood, TN., a sister, Ruth Rose of Canfield and three grandchildren, Zachary McPhee and Alexander and Zachary Hood and a great-granddaughter. Besides her parents, a granddaughter, Laura Hood preceded Jeanette in death. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Forum Hospice or the Fellows Riverside Gardens.
