Jeanette M. Ford

HOWLAND----There will be memorial services held at 7 PM Thursday evening at the Lane Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel for Jeanette M. Ford, 86 formerly of Howland who passed away Saturday evening at the Ron Joy Nursing Home. Jeanette was born January 22, 1917 in Warren, the daughter of Charles and Anna (Stegmeier) Poff and was a lifelong area resident. She had been employed as a desk girl for the Packard Electric Co. 27 years, retiring in 1966. Jeanette enjoyed traveling and going antique hunting. She is survived by a daughter, Evelyn Mills of Canfield, 5 grand children and 10 great-grandchildren. A great-grandchild, Scott Thomas Mills, and two sisters, Ruth Harrison and Charlotte Boyles preceded her in death. There are no calling hours.
