Jeanne Ann Boggs

Jeanne Ann Boggs, 80 of Champion Township, died Monday morning, July 9, 2018, at St. Elizabeth Belmont Hospital in Youngstown. She was born March 6, 1938 in Warren, the daughter of the late Benjamin John and Lillian Rose Janega Reick. Jeanne was a 1959 graduate of Howland High School. She worked as a secretary for the W.B. Gibson Company and Community Solutions, a program of Family and Community Services Agency in Warren, where she retired from after 30 years. Jeanne had been a member of the former St. Joseph Church (St. John Paul II parish) in Warren. Her husband of 17 years, Howard A. Boggs, whom she married in 1959 preceded her in death in August 1976. Two sisters, Alice M. Newsome and Lillian R. Oldacres both have also preceded in death. Surviving are two sisters, Pearl T. Keleman of Cortland and Agnes Calugar of Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. and two nieces and five nephews. The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Shafer-Winans Chapel in Cortland, where the family will receive friends from 9 to 10 a.m. Thursday. Deacon Frank Marino will officiate. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Champion. Online condolences may be made to the family and the obituary viewed at www.shaferwinanschapel.com
